Dundara Television & Media

Formed in 2008 by managing director Enda Grace, Dundara Television & Media has become one of Irelands busiest production facilities. Attention to detail and not accepting anything below perfect have become the hallmarks of the company. 

 

Recently Enda and the team produced the Game Of Thrones Season 8 red carpet premiere in Belfast for "Extra", one of Americas biggest entertainment shows. "Extra" is made by Time Warner, is broadcast from Universal Studios Hollywood and broadcasts coast to coast on NBC and associated channels.

 

Productions include "Treyvaud's Kitchen" (Virgin Media Television and Flame Television Australia). This series was recently acquired by Amazon Prime and now broadcasts in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Other territories will follow in 2020. Also creatred by Dundara are "Are We There Yet" (starring Coronation Streets Charlie Lawson (Jim McDonald), Danny Coll (Emmerdale), Rachel Allen, Dana and Sir James Galway - PBS USA), "Live from The National Ploughing Championships 2016" (21 Hours Live for Irish TV) and "Jimmy's Heroes" with the late great Jimmy Magee.

 

Documentary production includes "St. Patrick - Slave to Saint", "Galway 3 in a Row" and "Divided Loyalties".

Dundara delivers television commercials from concept right through to delivery. Projects in this genre include "Katie's Plan" (Tipperary Crystal 2017 Christmas), "Gifts From the Heart" (Tipperary Crystal 2018 Christmas), and other commercial clients include Beacon South Quarter, Stihl, Bostick, Tec 7, MSL Mercedes and Aura Leisure.

 

We also create sponsor stings including Laochra Gael on TG4 and client features for The Late Late Show, Ireland AM & Xpose.

 

Dundara successfully develop and produce short film projects with many programmings and awards from global festivals including the Chicago Irish Film Festival and the International Film Festival of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles.

 

Online content clients include The Dept. of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Tipperary Crystal, Expert Electrical and the Curragh Racecourse.

 

Dundara are also official media partners to Kildare GAA.

 

Projects in production and development include a number of tv commercials, a feature film, a short film and three documentaries for television release.

Dundalk Institute of Technology (DkIT)  is a 90-acre (360,000 m2) campus situated in DundalkCounty Louth, halfway between Dublin and Belfast (each approximately 80 kilometres away). The campus is 800 metres from the main Dublin Belfast road and 3 minutes drive from the M1 motorway to Dublin. Dublin Airport is a 35-minute drive by car. Dundalk is served by the Dublin Belfast Train and Dundalk's Clarke Station is approximately a 20-minute walk (or 6 euro taxi ride) from the campus.
